| Starting off pole, Race of Americas brought Helmut Sanden at the front of the pack at the start and the restart of an ICA race. Running on a 2005 EVO 5 MACH1 Chassis and KZH engine Helmut had a fastest practice time on Friday and was planning on using that to take over the lead in the Sunday’s final. An incident with other drivers caused Helmut to allow Fore to create a gap between them not making possible for Helmut to pass Fore later in the race. Helmut finished 2nd behind the World Champion. |

| After a long drive for the final Stars Race ORLADO Racing team is pleased with its overall performance. The weekend started really good as all four drivers qualified in the top 10 starting with an off pole position for our youngest Cadet driver Phillip Helmut Sanden in 5th position Lorenzo in 6th and Devon in 7th position in ICA class. Unfortunate technical mismeasurement by the officials put Devon and Lorenzo at the back of the starting grid. Prefinal race brought Phillip to the front of the pack for a few laps before the small incident placed him in the 11th position. For our ICA drivers prefinal allowed them to move up into their well deserved positions. Helmut gained 2 spots finishing 3rd Lorenzos impressive move from the 36th position landed him 10th starting place and Devon also had a good run following Lorenzo until contact with another kart bent his axle and forced him retire early from the race. In the final race on Sunday Helmut took the lead after the first corner only to be forced to finish the race with 2nd place due to chassis damage. Lorenzo however moved from 10th position to the 2nd and finally finishing the race 4th overall. Devon started really strong running in the top 10 from the 35th position but mechanical failure forced him to withdraw from the race in the last lap. |
